The senior software developer is responsible for the development and delivery of quality and performant software on .net platform and the design to handle the vast array of business use cases. As a senior developer you will help in design and develop key components. Guide team members in implementing solution. API architecture and design are important for skills. Azure or any other cloud will be advantageous.
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Collaborate with Architecture to Design and develop key components.
- Develop and design Web API and microservices on Dotnet platform.
- Report to Tech Manager.
- Collaborate with team to do Code review and suggest improvements to team members.
- Opportunity to work on multiple microservices in project with disconnected architecture.
- Opportunity to work on Azure Cloud and DevOps.
- Opportunities to work on SQL server and Dotnet framework.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- At least 8 years of experience (prefer financial services domain).
- Cloud experience Azure/DevOps/Function apps will be a plus.
- Dot Net full stack developer (Strong Experience in C#, Web API, LINQ, Entity Framework, MVC, Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, microservice).
- Experience in develop and maintaining .Net based web applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Should have worked on complex, multi-tiered architectural applications.
- Should have Experience of Object-Oriented programming practices (SOLID principles, Design pattern)
- Should have experience with the process of choosing from the design patterns and platforms and should be able to convey the merits and demerits of these to the team.
- Hands on experience in writing high performance SQL queries.
- Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of .Net developed projects, including periodic code review.
- Should Contribute to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise.
- Good analytical skills, knowledge of ORM, Entity framework.
- Contribute to Architecture blueprints and design.
Preferred AI Skills
- Experience with AI prompt engineering and LLM-based applications
- Familiar with AI/ML frameworks
- Good understanding of responsible AI practices and security in AI workflows
- Experience/Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI Service
- Experience/Knowledge of context management and prompt chaining techniques
- Familiarity with LangChain, semantic search, and vector databases
- Experience/Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT is preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant experience
