About the Role

Talemexa is seeking an experienced and motivated .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications for our clients using Microsoft's technology stack. In this role, you will build backend services and APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core, develop database solutions with SQL Server, and support application deployments in Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of professional experience with C# and .NET technologies, strong database development skills, and practical knowledge of Azure, Azure DevOps, and Entity Framework. You should also be comfortable participating in technical design discussions, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

You will work closely with software architects, frontend developers, database professionals, quality assurance engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver secure, maintainable, and high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core, following established coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• API Development: Build secure, scalable, and maintainable RESTful APIs and backend services to support business applications and system integrations.
• Database Development: Design and maintain SQL Server database objects, write efficient queries and stored procedures, and optimize database performance to support application requirements.
• Entity Framework: Use Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core for database interactions, data modeling, migrations, and efficient data access.
• Cloud Deployment: Support application deployments and configuration management in Microsoft Azure, ensuring reliable operation across development, testing, and production environments.
• Azure DevOps: Work with Azure DevOps pipelines, source control, and build and release processes to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Technical Design Reviews: Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions to improve application quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Production Support: Investigate production incidents, troubleshoot application errors, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes to minimize service disruptions.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, support integration testing, and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure applications meet functional and technical requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze application and database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to response times, resource utilization, and reliability.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation covering application architecture, API specifications, database changes, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog discussions, and other Agile activities to deliver quality software within agreed timelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 4 years of professional experience with C# and .NET development.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Core or modern .NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including query writing, stored procedures, and database optimization.
• Experience with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and application deployment practices.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and common design patterns.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
