Job summary

Pylon Management Consulting in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Software Architect to own end-to-end solution design across services, data, and integrations.

You will champion microservices, cloud-native patterns, and DevSecOps, guiding teams toward scalable, secure architectures while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication skills to align stakeholders, document decisions, and influence technical direction across teams.
• Strong expertise in .NET Core.
• Experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive end-to-end solution architecture from design and implementation through production deployment and ongoing evolution.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance designs (trade-offs, risks, and estimates clearly articulated).
• Lead technical discoveries and solve complex engineering problems across services, data, and integrations.
• Define and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, coding guidelines, and engineering guardrails (reviews, checklists).
• Ensure systems meet quality attributes: scalability, resilience, maintainability, performance, and security.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices (cloud-native, DevSecOps, automation, observability) and continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineers, setting clear technical direction, raising the bar on design/code quality, and enabling career growth.
• Coordinate with Product, DevOps/SRE, QA, and Security to plan and execute delivery (milestones, dependencies, and risk management).
• Participate in design reviews, drive alignment across teams, and communicate trade-offs and decisions to stakeholders.
• Remain hands-on: contribute to design and implementation, unblock the team, and take ownership of critical components.
