Job summary

JobItUs in Mumbai, India seeks a Custody Operations professional to manage voluntary corporate actions and primary market events. The role covers executing bids on exchange platforms, processing ASBA for IPOs and rights issues, and ensuring timely fund transfers with strict controls.

The candidate should have knowledge of Indian capital markets, SEBI/RBI regulations, and custody action workflows, and will handle client/auditor queries, audits, and UAT with an average team size of four reporting

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Indian Capital Markets, SEBI & RBI Regulations for reporting of trades.
• Knowledge of Corporate Action functions of Custody

Responsibilities

• Handle all types of voluntary corporate action events.
• Process primary market events such as IPO, FPO, QIP, privately placed securities.
• Execute bids on exchange platforms for OFS, buybacks, open offers.
• Process ASBA for rights, IPO, FPO, call money and related instructions.
• Ensure timely processing of fund transfer instructions within agreed TAT.
• Regulatory verifications and audits related to custody operations
• Respond to client and auditor queries and manage internal controls
• Oversee UAT and ensure adequate controls in every process

Job Role / KRA’s

• To handle of all types of voluntary corporate action events
• To handle processing of primary market events such as IPO, FPO, QIP, Private Placement etc.
• To handle execution of bids on exchange platform for OFS, buyback, open offer etc.
• To handle ASBA processing for rights, IPO , FPO, call money.
• To ensure processing of Fund Transfer instructions within TAT.
• Familiar with FDI, FVCI regulations and verification of regulatory documents
• Processing of Instructions received from the Clients.
• Daily Mutual fund Subscriptions Redemptions processing and reporting
• To handle the Client and auditors queries
• Various regulatory and internal audits need to be managed.
• Ensuring system UAT is completed on timely basis.
• Responsible for having sufficient controls in every process.
• Experience Profile Custody operations knowledge required Target Companies Custody Services of Bank.

Level: M4 /M5 Division: Custody Services Function : Voluntary Corporate Action Reporting Relationship: Average No. of direct Reportees : 4
