Role Description

The Doctor at Nutridocs will provide clinical oversight for personalized weight management programs, including assessing client health status, reviewing medical histories, and determining safe, effective treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, monitoring progress, adjusting nutrition and activity recommendations based on medical needs, and coordinating with nutritionists, fitness coaches, and behavioral specialists. The doctor will ensure all programs align with current medical guidelines, manage potential risks and contraindications, and document care in a structured, compliant manner. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring regular interaction with clients and team members to support high-quality, holistic care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution; postgraduate specialization in internal medicine, endocrinology, or nutrition-related fields is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of obesity management, metabolic health, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine, with the ability to apply evidence-based guidelines to individual cases.
• Experience in conducting clinical consultations, interpreting diagnostic reports, and creating safe, personalized care plans for weight management and related conditions.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills, with the ability to motivate clients, explain complex medical concepts in simple terms, and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfort with digital tools and health technology platforms for documentation, monitoring, and virtual collaboration; prior experience in telehealth or digital health settings is an advantage.
• Commitment to ethical, non-judgmental, gender-neutral, and inclusive care, with a focus on long-term health outcomes and sustainable behavior change.
• Current medical registration and license to practice, with compliance to all local regulatory and professional standards.
