Job summary

You will work with diversified suppliers, analyse quotes, and apply zero-based costing and VAVE techniques to drive cost reductions. The role demands analytical, problem-solving, technical and communication skills, as well as familiarity with MS Office and reading engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain - procurement & development.
• Cost reduction with VAVE activities and yield improvement.
• Knowledge of zero-based costing and quote analysis.
• Ability to read and analyse engineering standards and drawings.
• Capable of dealing with diversified suppliers.
• Basic financial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Travel if required for work.
• Cost estimation from part drawings using ZBC approach.
• Understand sheet metal and forging dies, tools, and their cost.
• Work with suppliers to optimize procurement and development.

• Industry – Sheet Metal Part Assemblies, Forging , Fastener and Standard parts.
• Well conversant with Sheet Metal- Press, Weld, Proprietary ,Forging ,Fastener and Standard parts. Having background knowledge of processes associated with these manufacturing technologies.
• Candidate should have understanding & experience in Supply Chain - procurement & development.
• Capable of dealing with diversified suppliers.
• Knowledge of Zero based costing, Quote analysis & Negotiation skills and basic financial knowledge.
• Must have analytical, problem solving, technical & communication skills
• Cost reduction with VAVE activities & Yield Improvement.
• Ability to read & analyse Engineering Standards, technical documents & Drawings.
• Good knowledge of IT tools like Microsoft office
• Tooling cost estimation from part drawing by deploying ZBC Approach
• Knowledge of structure of sheet metal and forging dies, tools & the cost, associated with the designing & Manufacturing
• Candidate may required to travel based on work requirements
