Job description

Full-Time

We Want To Change The World. We Believe It Starts With Education.

In India, 100 million children from low-income communities grow up without access to the 21st-century skills they need to thrive — from emotional intelligence and digital literacy to everyday money management. This gap leads to a lifetime of limited opportunity, intergenerational poverty, and rising mental health concerns.

What Are We Doing?

At The Apprentice Project (TAP), we're building India's boldest bet on education equity — an AI-powered learning buddy that helps thousands of government school students unlock 21st-century skills. We don't just teach coding or financial literacy — we spark self-confidence, creativity, and lifelong curiosity in children who've been told to \"stay in their lane.\"

We're not looking for employees. We're looking for co-builders — people who want to create generational change, one student at a time.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys making things happen — someone who gets energy from working with people, solving problems on the ground, and seeing the direct results of their effort. You don't need years of experience. You need to be someone who takes initiative, follows through, and genuinely cares about the work. You'll be working with government officials, school leaders, and teachers every day — so you need to be comfortable navigating those relationships, persistent when things don't move easily, and organised enough to keep multiple balls in the air. If you want a role where you can see your work translate directly into a child's learning experience — you'll thrive here.

About The Role

Location: Telangana (field-intensive, with travel across the assigned state)

Experience: 0–5 years (freshers with strong ownership and execution skills are welcome)

Type: Full-time

What You'll Do
Government Coordination
  • Coordinate with DEOs, DIET and SCERT officials, school heads, and teachers to drive programme rollout.
  • Manage meetings, permissions, follow-ups, and reporting to keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Build strong working relationships and ensure commitments translate into action.
  • Drive targets for school onboarding, student activation on TAP Buddy, engagement, and project completion.
  • Work with schools and teachers to improve student participation and resolve implementation challenges.
  • Track progress, spot gaps early, and take action to improve outcomes.
Operations & Reporting
  • Manage day-to-day implementation across assigned schools, clusters, or districts.
  • Maintain accurate trackers, update metrics, and submit fortnightly and monthly reports on time.
  • Identify issues, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure timely resolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Programme, Product, Technology, and M&E teams to improve delivery.
  • Share insights from schools and government stakeholders to strengthen the programme.
  • Take ownership of your targets, follow through on commitments, and keep raising the bar on execution.
Who You Are
  • 0–2 years of experience — freshers with strong ownership and execution skills are welcome.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Someone who takes initiative, enjoys solving problems, and gets things done.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, data, and digital tools — or genuinely willing to learn.
  • Willingness to travel across the assigned state and work closely with schools and field teams.
Skills You Bring
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Ability to build and manage working relationships with government officials, school leaders, and teachers — and keep commitments moving forward.
  • Programme Execution: Comfortable owning targets, tracking progress, and taking action when things aren’t on track.
  • Operations & Reporting: Organised and detail-oriented — able to maintain trackers, submit reports on time, and flag issues before they elevate.
  • Problem-Solving: A practical thinker who can identify what’s not working and take steps to fix it without waiting to be told.
What Success Looks Like
  • Schools are onboarded and students actively participate in TAP’s programmes.
  • Targets for activation, engagement, and project completion are met.
  • Government and school stakeholders receive timely communication and reporting.
  • Implementation challenges are resolved quickly and programme delivery stays on track.
Why Join Us?

Because in this role, you’ll see your work translate directly into better learning experiences for children — not in a report, but in the schools you visit and the students you help get started. You’ll build real skills in government coordination, programme implementation, and field-based problem-solving from day one. And you’ll do it alongside a team that moves fast, cares deeply, and gives you the ownership to grow. If you want to start your career doing work that actually matters — this is the place.

What You Can Expect?
  • Real ownership from day one: Take responsibility for your targets, your schools, and your results — with the support of a strong team behind you.
  • Ground-level learning: Work directly on government education systems and understand how change happens on the ground.
  • Growth: Build practical skills in field implementation, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making — and grow with a mission-driven team.
  • Supportive culture: Collaborative teams, open communication, and shared purpose.
  • Sector-aligned compensation: Competitive salary in line with experience and nonprofit standards.
