Job summary

Standard Chartered in Mumbai is seeking a Director & Platinum TL - SME Liabilities to lead CA portfolio management, drive SME banking growth, and ensure governance. You will oversee regulatory adherence, manage senior client relationships, and guide cross-functional teams to meet business targets in a dynamic banking environment.

  • Post Graduate/MBA with SME Banking experience (CASA, trade, forex, core banking).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
  • Leadership and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Regulatory & Business Conduct: uphold group values and conduct.
  • Identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
  • Manage CA portfolio and related business activities.
  • Acquire new to bank SME clients to improve book/deposit footing.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, elevate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • Embed Here for good and Group's brand and values in India, Business Banking, Liabilities; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats)
Qualifications

Education

  • Preferably Post Graduate/MBA with rich experience in SME Banking related to CASA, trade, forex & core banking products.

  • IRDAI & AMFI
