Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Bengaluru seeks a Director for the Life Sciences Industry Group (Domain Expert) to steer strategic Pharma IT initiatives spanning R&D discovery, clinical development and commercial CRM programs.

You will collaborate with scientists, architects and engineers across global delivery teams, drive GxP-compliant projects, engage customers at the C-suite level, and contribute to thought leadership through white papers, PoVs and focused industry events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of masters degree in life science or related area, PhD Degree (preferred).
• 15-20 years of experience in the Pharma and Biotechnology or Life sciences IT industry.
• Experienced delivering Pharma R&D Discovery, Clinical Development or Commercial CRM IT Programs.
• Deep understanding of Pharma value chain and core life sciences products; working knowledge of Veeva, Salesforce, SAP, Argus, Werum Pas X, LabWare LIMS and ELN is advantageous.
• GxP processes and validated pharma IT systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Sales enablement: Prospecting, targeting clients, account mining, global delivery collaboration, and pre-sales.
• Life Sciences solutions and offerings ownership: Collateral across value chain.
• Thought leadership: White papers, PoVs, speaker participation, and poster presentations at life sciences events.
• Engagement execution and management: Identify value drivers, present in QBRs, and broaden customer relationships.
• Team and organization: Build LS competencies with technology practices.

JD - Director - Life Sciences Industry Group (Domain Expert)

Qualifications & Expertise desired:

• Minimum of masters degree in life science or related area, PhD Degree (preferred).
• 15-20 years of experience in the Pharma and Biotechnology or Life sciences IT industry.
• Experienced having delivered Pharma R&D Discovery, Clinical Development or Commercial CRM IT Programs
• Deep understanding of Pharma value chain, Market leading core life sciences products. Working knowledge of any products - Veeva, Salesforce, SAP, Argus, Werum Pas X, LabWare LIMS and ELN products will be an advantage.
• Worked on GxP processes and with GAMP compliant validated pharma IT systems.
