Jobtailor is seeking an senior IT Operations leader in Bengaluru to drive IT strategy, governance, and transformation initiatives. You will partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to align budgets and technology roadmaps with company objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in IT Operations, IT Strategy, or IT Business Management.
• Experience in SaaS, Cloud, or high-growth technology environments.
• Proven track record managing complex IT budgets and forecasting.
• Knowledge of OKR, ITIL, Agile, and continuous improvement.
• Executive presence and ability to translate tech to business insights.
• Ability to lead through influence without direct reporting lines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the operational backbone of the IT department.
• Partner with IT leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive organizational transformation.
• Manage financial performance and align IT strategies with broader business objectives.
• Own the global IT budget, monitor spend, optimize costs, and ensure financial predictability.
• Lead development, alignment, and tracking of IT OKRs.
• Champion and manage the “IT for IT” program to advance internal IT capabilities.
• Facilitate and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for the IT organization.
• Present key metrics, operational health, and strategic roadmap progress to executive leadership.
• Drive change management and continuous improvement initiatives within IT.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable frameworks.
• Establish, maintain, and oversee IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Act as primary liaison for communicating IT department updates to the broader business.

Requirements

• Proven track record of managing complex IT budgets, forecasting, and vendor financial relationships
• Solid use of AI to build skills, agents and apps to bring efficiency to the IT business
• Deep understanding of OKR methodologies, ITIL, agile frameworks, and continuous improvement practices
• Exceptional executive presence and storytelling capability
• Ability to translate complex technical and operational concepts into clear, actionable business insights
• Ability to lead through influence, drive cross-functional alignment, and execute strategic initiatives without direct reporting lines
