Job summary

Armanino India LLP, a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA), seeks a senior accounting leader to oversee India operations, including AP, AR, GL, and financial reporting for client engagements.

You will lead client calls, mentor a team, implement policies, manage month-end close, and collaborate with US teams to drive growth and compliance.

CA qualification and 10+ years of experience required; proficiency in ERP systems like D365, SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite is essential.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting with leadership.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles and regulations; client-service or public accounting background preferred.
• Strong proficiency in ERP software (D365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills; strategic mindset for growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of accounting operations for client engagements.

• Accountable for India team meeting client KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting for client(s).
• Lead calls with clients on deliverables, KPIs and other updates as needed
• Accountable for India team meeting all the client KPIs
• Mentor, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement innovative accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, financial planning, and business growth opportunities.
• Liaison with US team on client engagements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive process improvements and innovation.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, providing proactive financial insights and solutions to meet their evolving needs.
• Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a proven track record of leadership and managerial excellence.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, with experience in a client-service or public accounting environment preferred.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks), with a focus on leveraging technology to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business growth, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment, with a passion for learning, adaptability, and innovation.
