Job summary

Armanino India LLP in India seeks an accounting professional to develop and maintain accounting principles and deliver timely financial statements. You will respond to clients and manage GL, AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate reporting.

You will work with multiple cloud-based accounting systems, communicate with senior consultants, and deliver services on time and within budget. This role offers growth within a globally connected firm and exposure to diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• 1+ years of accounting experience including GL, AP, AR, PR, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills; excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
• Respond to clients and manage multiple accounting activities with tight deadlines (GL, AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations).
• Deliver exceptional service on time and on budget.
• Routinely communicate with Senior Accounting Consultants about close, issues, and deliverables.
• Leverage cloud-based accounting systems and add-ons to provide accounting services for clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
• Assume primary responsibility for responding to clients
• Address tight deadlines with a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger administration, financial reporting, AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations
• Deliver exceptional service on time and on budget
• Routinely communicate with Senior Accounting Consultants relating to financial close, accounting issues, and deliverables
• Leverage multiple cloud based accounting systems, and integrated add-ons, to provide accounting services for our clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in accounting including GL, AP, AR, PR, reconciliations, financial statements and variance analysis or relevant experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to set priorities and with excellent time management skills; enjoy working independently or in a team environment with clear deadlines and deliverables
• Well versed and certified in multiple accounting software including Yardi, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Procore, MRI, Real Page, or Sage Intacct; able to shift from one to another.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
