Job summary

You will mentor teams, shape technical strategy, and collaborate with Product, Sales, and Support to translate customer needs into scalable solutions. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership of large-scale SaaS delivery, ensuring reliability, performance, and timely feature

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams in large-scale enterprise SaaS.
• Hands-on software development background.

Description:

Leadership & Management:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of product customization and configuration to ensure alignment with customer specifications and business objectives.
• Manage and optimize the sustenance engineering processes to maintain the product's reliability and performance.

Product Development & Customization:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, and Customer Support, to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Drive the design, development, and deployment of customized solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of custom configurations and enhancements to the flagship product.

Sustenance Engineering:

• Oversee the identification, analysis, and resolution of product issues to maintain optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
• Implement robust processes for monitoring, diagnosing, and fixing product defects and performance issues.
• Ensure the team is equipped to provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions.

Customer Satisfaction & SLA Compliance:

• Ensure all customer interactions and solutions meet or exceed customer expectations, driving high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain processes to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including timely resolution of issues and communication with customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance the customer experience.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for solutions development and sustenance engineering that aligns with the company’s vision and goals.
• Continuously assess and improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of exp
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams in the development and delivery of large-scale enterprise SaaS applications.
• Strong background in software development, with hands-on experience in configuring and customizing complex software solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of successfully managing product sustenance engineering.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with agile development processes and tools.
