• Partner with Product, Design, Security, Data, and Risk teams to deliver customer-centric mobile products

Director of Engineering Mobile Development (iOS & Android)

Position Overview

looking for a Director of Engineering Mobile Development to lead the engineering strategy, architecture, and delivery of world-class iOS and Android mobile experiences for millions of customers.

The leader will be responsible for building and scaling high-performing mobile engineering teams, driving modern mobile architecture, and delivering secure, reliable, scalable, and highly engaging digital experiences across iOS and Android.

This role requires a strong combination of technical depth, engineering leadership, product mindset, and experience building large-scale consumer-facing mobile applications, preferably within payments, banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the mobile engineering strategy and technology roadmap across iOS and Android.
• Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for mobile application development, platforms, and shared mobile capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership across mobile architecture, application design, development, testing, deployment, and production operations.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and modern engineering platforms.
• Establish modern mobile engineering practices using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
• Drive modernization initiatives including legacy platform transformation, application modularization, SDK modernization, and architecture evolution.
• Partner with Product, Design, UX, Architecture, Security, Data, Risk, and other technology teams to deliver customer-centric digital products.
• Ensure mobile applications meet stringent requirements for security, privacy, authentication, authorization, and regulatory compliance.
