  • Own the project delivery capability end to end, including its roadmap, delivery standards, service performance and continuous improvement.
  • Build sufficient expertise in cybersecurity concepts and technologies to understand project requirements, deliverables, risks and intended outcomes.
  • Support business case development, with particular focus on business value, investment outcomes and measurable benefits.

  • Work across the CSO Leadership Team to identify and resolve resource capacity constraints and drive effective resource allocation.
  • Manage portfolio risks, issues and dependencies, coordinate cross-workstream impacts, and escalated matters that are not progressing.
  • Lead communications, escalation and reporting to maintain alignment and progress across delivery teams, senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Support and develop Cyber Security Project Managers, including employees and contingent workers, by setting goals, coordinating activity and establishing prioritised delivery schedules.
  • Own the capability budget and supplier relationships, ensuring delivery commitments and financial performance are effectively managed.
  • Build strategic relationships with Tech business‑unit leadership teams to support consistent application of security policies and standards across technology projects, systems and services.
  • Champion GSK values, lead with context rather than control, focus on outcomes, and demonstrate transparency, integrity, inclusion and accountability.
  • Develop people through formal development programmes, mentoring and coaching, while fully supporting diversity, inclusion and equity.
Basic Qualifications:
  • BA or BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 20+ years of experience, at least 10 years of leadership experience in project and portfolio management or programme delivery.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing technology delivery teams.
  • Experience in technology portfolio management, including prioritisation, governance, risk management and key performance indicators.
  • Experience delivering complex technology solutions across multiple global regions within a regulated industry.
  • Substantial cybersecurity experience, with the ability to understand technical requirements, delivery outcomes and security risk.
