NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Director of Data Centre Construction Project Management to lead strategic planning and execution of global data centre projects. You will oversee multiple builds and renovations, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while maintaining high quality and sustainability standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and leadership to optimize resources, manage risks, and drive cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in data centre construction and project leadership.

The Director of Data Centre Construction Project Management is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of data centre construction projects. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Director collaborates with cross‑functional teams, manages resources, and provides technical expertise to support the organization’s data centre infrastructure needs.

• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report financial performance to senior leadership.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimize project spending.
• Identify potential risks associated with data centre construction projects and develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address issues to minimize project disruptions.
• Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures to ensure that construction work adheres to design specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits.
• Ensure that all data centre construction projects comply with local, national, and international regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Select, negotiate with, and manage external vendors, suppliers, and construction contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to align data centre construction projects with organizational goals and priorities.
• Provide regular updates on project status and milestones.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols, environmental responsibility, and sustainability practices in data centre construction projects.
