Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Senior Specialist - Civil Construction Project to lead the civil engineering scope for large‑scale, mission‑critical data centre projects. You will review designs, supervise site works, and coordinate with structural, architectural and MEP teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role requires 8–12 years in civil engineering, 3–5 years in data centres, strong project management, safety focus, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.

Your role at a glance

The Senior Specialist - Civil Construction Project is responsible for leading and managing the civil engineering scope for large scale, mission critical data centre projects. The role combines deep technical expertise in civil engineering with strong project management capabilities to ensure high quality, cost effective, and timely delivery of civil works. This position requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and effective oversight across the full project life cycle from design and permitting through construction and commissioning.

What we are looking for

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead civil engineering activities for data centre construction projects from concept to commissioning.
• Review and validate civil design drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Oversee site execution of civil works: excavation, grading, foundations, base build, fit‑out works, external infrastructure, and civil finishes.
• Ensure civil works adhere to project quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with structural, architectural, MEP teams, and contractors to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Monitor onsite progress and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality.
• Support project managers in delivering civil scope on time and within budget.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction materials, and data centre infrastructure requirements.
• Knowledge of site development, foundations, utilities, drainage, and civil finishes.
• Familiarity with mission‑critical construction standards and multidisciplinary coordination (Structural, MEP, Architecture).
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents accurately.
• Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Proficiency with project tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• High focus on quality, safety, documentation accuracy, and timely delivery in fast‑paced environments.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
