Role Overview
We are seeking a world-class, experienced, and proven Revenue Operations leader to strengthen how Algoworks understands, manages, and improves commercial performance. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with senior leadership across Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Technology, this role will be responsible for making the go-to-market (GTM) operating model work better, not simply reporting on its performance.
The position combines revenue intelligence with process design, data governance, systems effectiveness, and adoption to create a trusted, forward-looking view of the revenue engine. The role will improve how teams operate from lead generation through revenue realization.
This is not a Salesforce architect or engineering role. The successful candidate must understand GTM systems deeply enough to define how they should support the business, identify where processes or data are failing, and work hand-in-hand with technical specialists to implement scalable improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create integrated, forward-looking views of pipeline, bookings, backlog, forecast, revenue, and customer growth.
- Explain material movements, underlying drivers, emerging risks, and growth opportunities in concise, executive-ready terms.
- Ensure leadership receives actionable insights and recommendations rather than simply reports and dashboards.
2. Commercial Performance & Predictability
- Evaluate pipeline health, coverage, movement, conversion, sales velocity, deal slippage, and forecast risk.
- Analyze performance across customers, service lines, markets, geographies, and revenue streams.
- Recommend focused interventions to improve commercial performance and revenue predictability.
3. Revenue Operating Model
- Establish clear business definitions for pipeline stages, opportunity categories, forecast classifications, and critical revenue measures.
- Identify broken handoffs, recurring exceptions, duplicated effort, and unnecessary manual work across the revenue lifecycle.
- Redesign high-value processes, define required business rules and controls, and drive adoption of the improved operating model.
- Connect Marketing activity to qualified pipeline and revenue outcomes, including funnel conversion, lead quality, attribution, and channel effectiveness.
- Support Sales with pipeline, forecast, conversion, and account insights.
- Help Finance connect commercial expectations with bookings, backlog, and revenue realization.
- Create a consistent and trusted fact base across Sales, Marketing, Alliances, Finance, and leadership while respecting each function's responsibilities and decision rights.
- Be accountable for the business effectiveness, data quality, governance, and adoption of the GTM technology ecosystem, with Salesforce serving as the primary commercial source of truth.
- Define business requirements and operating standards for opportunity hygiene, field consistency, close dates, lead and campaign data, source attribution, metric definitions, workflows, reporting discipline, and user adoption.
- Work hand-in-hand with Salesforce, BI, data, and technology specialists to translate GTM requirements into scalable architecture, integrations, automation, and system improvements.
- Ensure business outcomes and user adoption remain the primary focus of technology improvements.
6. Strategic Revenue Initiatives, Automation & AI
- Lead a focused portfolio of initiatives that materially improve revenue visibility, predictability, or operating effectiveness.
- Frame complex commercial problems, prioritize opportunities by business impact and feasibility, and define the desired operating outcomes.
- Coordinate implementation with relevant functional and technical specialists.
- Identify practical applications of analytics, automation, and AI to improve forecasting, data quality, decision support, and recurring revenue processes.
Required Technical Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Revenue Intelligence, or Commercial Strategy.
- At least 5 years in senior roles involving revenue analysis, commercial operations, or cross-functional revenue management.
- Strong understanding of complex B2B revenue models, including pipeline, forecasting, bookings, backlog, revenue realization, and customer growth.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to connect revenue expectations to operational and financial outcomes.
- Deep working knowledge of Salesforce from a Revenue Operations perspective, including data model concepts, workflows, governance, adoption, and integration patterns. Hands‑on development is not required.
- Experience with marketing automation and GTM platforms such as Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Amplemarket, or comparable tools.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and experience with BI platforms such as Power BI.
- Experience defining metrics, analytical frameworks, business requirements, GTM processes, data standards, system adoption measures, and executive reporting.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross‑functional outcomes without relying on direct authority.
