Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Mysore is seeking a Diploma holder for hands-on assembly and installation work at project sites. You will assemble sensors and mechanical parts, test boards, and ensure quality processes are followed while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires site installations, wiring of control racks, and ERP-based production reporting. You will plan activities in advance and support inspections to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder required.
• Experience with site installations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sensors with rail claw and plate per manufacturing instruction.
• Install sensors at site.
• Strict adherence to the quality process and documentation.
• Assemble mechanical parts as per the requirement sheet.
• Test boards as per the manufacturing instruction.
• Inspection of conformal coating as per the specification and requirements.
• Handling knowledge of active and passive components in PCB.
• Soldering of boards as per the requirement sheet and standards.
• Wiring of axle counter racks, relay racks, reset cubicles, co-operative reset panel according to interface circuit.
• Installation of axle counting systems at sites.
• Plan the activities related to assignments in advance so that the planned activities are executed on time.
• Reporting of activities, issues and problems related to work execution to higher ups so that progress is up to date with the higher ups and problems are solved immediately.
• Production reporting through ERP.
• Supporting to RDSO inspection.

Key roles & responsibilities

• Plan the activities related to assignments in advance so that the planned activities are executed on time
