Job summary

Frauscher in Kolkata seeks a qualified engineer with a Diploma or BE and 2-3 years of railway signalling exposure to support site surveys, installation planning, and commissioning activities. You will coordinate with customers and subcontractors, ensure quality, and help prepare as-built drawings and certificates.

The role requires hands-on field work, strict adherence to processes, and collaboration with the project teams to deliver reliable rail solutions.

• Site surveys that are required for the project execution
• Project installation planning, interfacing with customers for installation
• Interfacing with installation sub-contractors if any and ensure quality of installation is maintained
• Planning the testing & commissioning activities with the company teams and customers
• Successfully test & commission the installation as per the approved testing procedures of the company and obtain "installation complete" certificates form customers
• Update the "bell test" copies as per the actual installation and send to design team for preparing the "as built" drawings
• Submit the "as built "drawings to customers and get it signed off by customers
• Close all the punch list items post commissioning
• Strictly adhere to company processes in terms installation, testing & commissioning
• Empowered to stop the service provision, if quality or Product safety requirements are not met.
