Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Mumbai seeks a senior VP Legal Support to lead and scale the Legal Operations team across India, focusing on entity management, LP transfers, fund launches, onboarding and wind-down. You will drive operational excellence in a matrix environment.

You will mentor a high-caliber team, partner with Legal, Investor Relations, Compliance and Finance, and build robust processes, reporting and KPIs to support private markets activities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Private Credit, Fund Administration, Investor Services, Transfer Agency, Fund Operations or Legal Operations.
• Experience in investor onboarding, subscription processing, LP transfers or fund administration.
• Proven experience in team setup/management and transitions.
• Understanding of private fund structures, partnership agreements and investor lifecycle events.
• Strong stakeholder, project management, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience with CRM, investor servicing, fund administration or workflow platforms preferred.
• Alternative asset management/private markets experience strongly preferred.
