Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Chennai is seeking a Digital Workspace Technical Lead with 8–12 years of experience to lead End User Compute initiatives and modern endpoint management. You will architect and deliver VDI solutions using Citrix Cloud and Microsoft Virtual Desktops, drive technical standards, mentor engineers, and engage with senior stakeholders to align IT strategy with business needs.

• 6–8 years of experience in End User Compute / M365 Endpoint environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Modern Endpoint Management: Windows 11, Intune, AutoPilot, SCCM Co-Management, Enterprise Mobility, iOS and Android.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID and conditional access.
• Experience architecting and leading VDI solutions, including Citrix Cloud and Citrix/Microsoft Virtual Desktops, at scale.
• Proven technical leadership: setting standards, reviewing designs, mentoring engineers.
• Scripting with PowerShell / Graph API; automation via M365 admin modules.
• Experience with application packaging and deployment at enterprise scale.
• Ability to translate complex technical detail into business language for non-technical and senior stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• M365 and/or Citrix certification at Associate/Expert level (or working towards).

Essential skills

• Minimum 6–8 years experience in End User Compute / M365 Endpoint environments, including significant time in a senior or lead technical capacity.
• Deep, hands-on expertise with Microsoft Modern Endpoint Management: Windows 11, Intune, AutoPilot, SCCM Co-Management, Enterprise Mobility, iOS and Android.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID, identity and conditional access, and their role in a modern endpoint architecture.
• Proven experience architecting and leading VDI solutions, including Citrix Cloud and Citrix/Microsoft Virtual Desktops, at scale.
• Track record of technical leadership: setting standards, reviewing designs, and mentoring engineers within a team.
• Confident PowerShell / Graph API scripting, including automation via M365 admin modules.
• Experience with application packaging and deployment at an enterprise scale.
• Able to translate complex technical detail into business-friendly language for non-technical and senior stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to drive alignment across teams without direct authority.
• M365 and/or Citrix certification(s) at Associate/Expert level (or working towards).

Desirable / nice to have

• Formal people leadership or team lead experience.
• ITIL or equivalent service management framework knowledge.
• Experience owning a technical roadmap or architecture governance process.
• Enterprise Print implementations with experience with “follow me” solutions
• Exposure to vendor management for End User Compute tooling.
