Digital Service Manager Infrastructure Security - Automotive Business

The role you are applying for will be part of the automotive business and offers you the opportunity to shape a new company aimed at meeting the needs of the transforming global automotive market.

What you can expect in the role

• Operational Excellence: Enhance availability, reliability, security, and performance of the Service, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.
• Vendor Management: Act as the contract owner and manage supplier relationships, performing root‑cause analysis and ensuring suppliers deliver within the agreed contract framework.
• Service Roadmap: Develop and execute the roadmap for the Service to reach business goals and objectives with continuous improvements and cost efficiency.
• Budget Control: Own the budget and forecast, delivering within given guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Automotive Security team, Infrastructure Platform Service owners, Information Security team, and Infrastructure Architects, and engage the user community and key stakeholders.
• Technical Knowledge: Provide a strong understanding of Infrastructure services such as Hosting, Cloud, and Network, with a focus on Secure access, Firewalls, and Certificate processes in a Zero‑Trust environment.
• Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with the Security team to ensure that services are secure and compliant, protecting the organization from potential threats.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Network Engineering.
• Experience in Infrastructure, such as Cloud and Network, with a security focus; preferred in a global outsourced environment. Familiarity with tools such as Zscaler, Aviatrix, AlgoSec, Palo Alto, and Sectigo.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with the ability to balance technical nuances with non‑technical language.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly changing, fast‑paced environment.
• Enjoying work in a true global environment, including dialogue with many different nationalities and cultures.
• Structured, coherent mindset and ensuring that agreed standards are followed, suppliers deliver according to contract, and cost is under control.

Additional Information

Preferred location for this position is any of the SKF Automotive sites in Europe or in India. Employment will be on a local contract.

You will report to Katarina Kymmer, Infrastructure Platform Services Manager, in Gothenburg, Sweden.
