Job summary

Continental India Private Limited is seeking a Digital Service Engineer to manage shopfloor IT interfaces, OT infrastructure, and C&D technologies. The role involves maintaining a long-term lifecycle roadmap aligned with global strategies and central MTE standards on the shop floor in Meerut.

You will provide expert support for DS and C&D systems, ensure installation standards, and oversee electrical acceptance of new machines, while enforcing cybersecurity policies and driving data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor of electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years Experience in Industrial Automation, IT engineering experience in production industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert level support on DS and C&D technologies to fulfill production plans and ensure adherence to standard processes.
• Implement and maintain Generic Technical Equipment Standards for all new installations and upgrades of equipment including Manufacturing IT Systems.
• Responsible for electrical acceptance of new machines and major upgrades in the area.
• Ensure adherence to shopfloor cybersecurity policy in area.
• Drive machine connections and provide data from machines to IT systems for big data enabled continuous improvement to increase manufacturing efficiency.

Your tasks

The Digital Service Engineer is responsible for the shopfloor IT interface, OT Infrastructure and C&D technologies in the plant. Responsible to maintain a long-term roadmap for the life cycle management of these systems and technologies, to be in line with the global strategies and standards of central MTE.

• Responsible to provide expert level support on DS and C&D technologies (as per the attached RASI) in order to fulfill committed production plans and ensure adherence to MTE@Tires standard processes.
• Ensures the implementation and maintenance of Generic Technical Equipment Standards for all new installations and upgrades of equipment (m/c) including Manufacturing IT Systems in his area.
• Responsible for the electrical acceptance of new machines and major upgrades in his area.
• Ensures and maintains the adherance of all shopfloor systems as per the cybersecurity policy in his area.
• Responsible to drive the machine connections and provide the needed data from the machines to the IT systems to get benefit out of big data for continuous improvement to increase manufacturing efficiency
  

Your profile

Bachelor of electrical engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years Experience in Industrial Automation, IT engineering experience in production industry
