Role & responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Scheduling
- a) Plan and organize daily production activities based on customer priorities, urgent requirements, and delivery schedules.
2. Work Allocation & Team Management
- a) Allocate work to operators and helpers, clearly explain job requirements, and ensure smooth execution of production activities.
3. Raw Material Coordination
- a) Prepare and submit raw material requirements and coordinate with the Stores Department to ensure timely availability of materials.
4. Quality Coordination
- a) Liaise with the Quality Control Department to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Production Supervision
- a) Provide overall supervision of printing operations and resolve operational issues during online production.
6. Print Quality Monitoring
- a) Verify machine output, sample printing, dimensions, color shades, and print quality as per customer specifications and approved standards.
7. Employee Issue Resolution
- a) Address employee concerns and coordinate with relevant departments and management for timely resolution.
8. Priority Management & Dispatch Readiness
- a) Prioritize urgent orders, ensure timely completion of finished goods, and coordinate dispatch activities with proper packaging standards.
9. Management Coordination
- a) Communicate with management regarding new product developments, production priorities, and urgent dispatch requirements.
10. Machine Maintenance Coordination
- a) Coordinate with the Maintenance Department for preventive maintenance and minimize machine breakdowns and downtime.
11. Housekeeping & Workplace Organization
- a) Ensure cleanliness, proper housekeeping, and organized work areas in compliance with company standards.
12. Training & Skill Development
- a) Provide on-the-job training to operators and helpers to improve productivity, quality, and process adherence.
13. Attendance & Discipline Management
- a) Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and overall performance of operators and helpers.
14. Safety Compliance
- a) Ensure employees follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
15. Documentation & Compliance
- a) Maintain production records, quality documentation, and compliance-related reports accurately and timely.
16. Productivity Improvement
- a) Monitor production cycle times, identify improvement opportunities, and implement actions to enhance efficiency.
- b) Coordinate software development projects for digital printing machines with management and provide creative solutions to support technological advancement and business objectives
17. Customer Specification Compliance
- a) Ensure all printing jobs meet approved artwork, dimensions, color shades, and customer requirements before production release and dispatch.
Preferred candidate profile
- 5+ Years of Experience in Digital Printing
- Diploma in any stream
