Job summary

Pakka Limited is building the digital and AI backbone of the company. You will own how data, AI, and better ways of working move through the company, from the plant floor to the customer. You will set the strategy, build the first tools yourself or alongside a small team, and grow that team to four or five people in Noida.

This is a build role, not an advisory one. You will work on live AI projects like production planners, automation, and portals, aiming to make them the norm.

The role

Thenorth star is easy to say and hard to do: make Pakka the most technology-drivenregenerative packaging company in the world. Day to day, you own how data, AI,and better ways of working move through the company, from the plant floor tothe customer. You will set the strategy, build the first tools yourself oralongside a small team, and grow that team to four or five people in Noida. Youreport into the leadership group and work alongside the business heads.

Thisis a build role, not an advisory one. People here are already wiring up an AIproduction planner, a WhatsApp bot that answers profitability questions offlive data, and an automated dealer portal. Your job is to make that the normrather than the exception.

What you will own

Overthe next few years, your work should show up in the company's own numbers:

• A digital-first customerexperience and a single view of the customer, lifting NPS past 50.
• AI in production and inventoryplanning that pushes OEE past 80.
• Product development that runs ondata, growing new-product vitality past 20% of sales.
• A digitised employee lifecycle,from onboarding to exit, lifting eNPS past 60.
• Automation and cleaner data thatimprove capital efficiency, ROCE past 25.

What you will actually do

• Set the digital and AI vision,and get the leadership and the Sanghs to believe in it.
• Turn a deep read of our currentsystems and where we are headed into a multi-year roadmap.
• Fix the data. Some of it isfragmented, much of our secondary sales through partners is invisible to us,and twenty years of plant data still is not usable. Build one source of truth.
• Choose tools and platforms onmerit, and make them easy enough that people actually use them.
• Put sensible guardrails on AIsowe you use it responsibly.
• Raise the whole company's AIliteracy, from the plant floor to the office.
• Bring plant DCS and OT datatogether with IT systems so the factory can run on live decisions.
• Justify every rupee of digitalspend with a clear return, and stop what does not pay off.
• Decide what to build in-houseand what to do with partners, and bring in consultants when it earns its keep.

Who we are looking for

Thetricky part is the background, because there is no clean template for thisperson. The role needs four things that rarely sit in one head. Strategy, soyou can set direction. Building, so you can ship data and AI systems peopleuse. Operations, so you understand a factory and a supply chain. And theability to move an organisation, because none of it lands if people do notchange how they work.

Sowe are hiring for the shape of the person, not the pedigree. You might comefrom:

• Digital or AI transformationinside a manufacturing or industrial company, where you shipped working systemsrather than slides.
• A data or AI product background,if you are drawn to the physical world of factories and supply chains and wantto own outcomes end to end.
• A forward-deployed orsolutions-engineering role, where you embedded with a business and turned messyproblems into software that works.
• Building and running your owndata or AI-heavy venture, and wanting to do it now at real scale.

Whatwe will not bend on: you have personally built, or led the building of, dataand AI systems that people rely on. You have pushed change through a realorganisation and lived with the friction. You are at ease as the most technicalperson in a business meeting and the most business-minded person in a technicalone. And you want to understand how things get made.

The person

Enoughyears behind you to have done this, not so many that you have stopped buildingwith your own hands. Roughly five to eight years in. What matters most isdrive. You ship, you own the result, and you do not wait for a perfect briefbefore you start. If you need everything defined before you start, this is notthe seat.
