Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with banking/fintech platform implementations or enhancements.
• Experience in requirements management, process modeling, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of AI/generative AI use cases and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and tech teams to define and prioritize requirements.
• Analyze end-to-end processes across lending, payments, treasury, wealth management, and capital markets.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, flow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
• Support platform implementation, migration, modernization, and digital transformation programs.
• Facilitate workshops, UAT, and production rollout readiness.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and analytics to improve outcomes and efficiency.

Role Summary

EY GDS India LLP is seeking a Business Analyst - Digital with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience to drive digital transformation initiatives across Banking & Capital Markets platforms. The role requires a blend of banking domain expertise, platform implementation experience, business analysis capabilities, and practical understanding of AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, and platform vendors to define, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Analyze and optimize end-to-end business processes across Banking & Capital Markets functions including lending, payments, trade finance, treasury, wealth management, capital markets, and regulatory reporting.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in platform implementation, migration, modernization, and digital transformation programs using leading banking and capital markets platforms.
• Conduct gap analysis, solution assessments, impact analysis, and support business process re-engineering initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, UAT activities, and production rollout readiness.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, Generative AI, intelligent automation, and analytics to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure business requirements are aligned with target-state digital and data strategies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking, Financial Services, and Capital Markets transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of banking products, capital markets processes, regulatory requirements and industry trends.
• Hands-on experience in implementation or enhancement of banking, capital markets, or fintech platforms.
• Proven expertise in requirements management, process Modeling, Agile delivery methodologies, and stakeholder management.
• Working knowledge of AI/Generative AI use cases, data-driven decision making, intelligent workflow automation and digital product ecosystems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and client-facing consulting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with leading Banking & Capital Markets platforms, cloud-based digital ecosystems, data platforms , and AI-enabled business solutions will be highly preferred.
• Ability to operate in a global delivery model and collaborate effectively across cross-functional and multi-geography teams is essential.
