Job summary

2coms is seeking an experienced Diesel/Forklift Mechanic in Lucknow to maintain and repair trucks and forklifts. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and overhauls of diesel and related systems.

The ideal candidate has ITI/ Diploma, 3+ years of relevant experience, and strong troubleshooting skills. Accommodation and company-provided utilities are included. This is a full-time position with a 3-year employment contract.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diesel / Forklift Mechanic with strong hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing trucks and forklifts. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and overhauls of diesel and other equipment systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on trucks and forklifts.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential mechanical issues.
• Change fluids, replace worn parts and lubricate moving components.
• Diagnose electrical systems, engines, hydraulic pumps and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot diesel, gas and LP engine-related issues.
• Use diagnostic software and technical manuals for system troubleshooting.
• Repair and replace brakes, masts, transmissions, steering components and attachments.
• Carry out repairs and overhauls to maintain equipment in safe operating condition.
• Ensure trucks and forklifts meet applicable safety standards before being released for operation.
• Maintain proper maintenance and repair records.

Requirements

• Education: ITI/ Diploma
• Age: 26 to 45 years.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience inDiesel/ Forklift Mechanic.
• Experience in truck and forklift mechanical maintenance .
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
• Driving Licence: Group 6 and 9.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Accommodation: Sharing accommodation provided by the company.
