Job summary

Freelanceshop is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Specialist – Logistics & Tracking in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This role will focus on designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support logistics and tracking platforms.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering role.
  • Experience supporting production systems in logistics, transportation, or high-traffic platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for logistics and tracking applications.
  • Automate system provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Support 24/7 logistics platforms with high uptime requirements.

Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Specialist – Logistics & Tracking to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support our logistics and real-time tracking platforms. You will work closely with software engineers, data teams, and operations stakeholders to ensure high availability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems used in global supply chain operations.

This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for logistics and tracking applications.
  • Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
  • Automate system provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using observability tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve release cycles and reduce deployment risks.
  • Ensure system security, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Support 24/7 logistics platforms with high uptime requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
Experience
  • 3–6 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering role.
  • Proven experience supporting production systems in logistics, transportation, or high-traffic platforms is preferred.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven environments.
Working Hours
