SpeedMart is looking for a highly skilled DevOps IT OPS Specialist to enhance the adoption and operation of Cloud and DevOps technologies. The successful candidate will ensure production stability, drive automation initiatives, and implement CI/CD best practices.

Your expertise in IBM Cloud services, Kubernetes Administration, and experience with DevOps tooling will be critical. In this full-time role, you will collaborate closely with multiple teams to optimize operational efficiency and facilitate cloud migration initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Cloud and cloud infrastructure management.
• Proficient in Kubernetes Administration and CI/CD pipeline design and optimization.
• Experience with monitoring and performance analysis using Sysdig.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps IT OPS Specialist to support the adoption, design, and operation of Cloud and DevOps technologies within APS business domains. The ideal candidate will act as a key contributor in ensuring production stability, driving automation initiatives, implementing CI/CD best practices, and supporting cloud-native platforms.

The role requires a strong production support mindset, expertise in Kubernetes and DevOps tooling, and the ability to continuously improve operational efficiency through automation and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary production operations representative throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure production requirements are incorporated during solution design and implementation.
• Maintain stability, availability, and performance of Production and Non-Production environments.
• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Support Cloud adoption and migration initiatives across APS business domains.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and infrastructure performance.
• Facilitate application deployments, releases, and operational readiness activities.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Participate in project reviews, risk assessments, and technical solution discussions.
• Maintain operational documentation, deployment procedures, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across production services.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing on Cloud and DevOps best practices.

Must - Have Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Cloud services and cloud infrastructure management.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes Administration, including cluster deployment, management, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Experience with Helm Charts for application packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in Sysdig for monitoring, observability, and performance analysis.
• Solid understanding of Network Architecture, including Firewalls, Illumio, network security, and connectivity management.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault (HVault) for secrets management and security implementation.
• Strong knowledge of GitLab CI/CD for designing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with Jenkins for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience with Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and optimization.
• Expertise in Deployment Automation, Release Management, and Production Deployments.
• Strong administration and troubleshooting experience in Linux environments.
• Experience managing and supporting Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Experience in Production Support, Incident Management, and Problem Resolution.
• Strong understanding of Monitoring, Alerting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes.
• Experience managing both Production and Non‑Production environments.
• Ability to drive Cloud Adoption, DevOps Transformation, and Automation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Cloud Migration, DevOps Transformation, and Infrastructure Automation initiatives.
• Exposure to DevSecOps, Kubernetes Security, and Enterprise Production Support environments.
• Prior experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domain will be an added advantage.
