Job description:

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to lead the DevOps team to facilitate better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes.

Do

1. Drive technical solution support to the team to align on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications
   • Design and define the overall DevOps architecture/framework for project/module delivery as per client requirements.
   • Select appropriate DevOps tools & platforms aligned to customer needs.
   • Create a deployment model for validation, testing, and performance monitoring, and provision resources accordingly.
   • Define & manage IT infrastructure based on software code requirements.
   • Manage the DevOps pipeline supporting the application lifecycle from planning to monitoring.
   • Work with the team on coding and scripting for seamless integration of code with operating systems and infrastructure.
   • Ensure onboarding of application configurations from planning to release.
   • Integrate security throughout the DevOps lifecycle to mitigate cyber risks and ensure data privacy.
2. Provide customer support/service on DevOps tools
   • Support internal & external escalations across platforms.
   • Troubleshoot issues in DevOps implementation.
   • Conduct root cause analysis of major incidents.
   • Develop and implement corrective actions.
   • Follow escalation processes for unresolved issues.
   • Share knowledge and best practices with the team.
3. Team Management
   • Forecast talent needs and hire appropriately.
   • Train team members for skill enhancement.
   • Ensure onboarding and training standards are met.
   • Build internal talent pools and promote diversity.
   • Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback.
   • Address performance issues promptly.
   • Drive employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
