Job summary

Techstar Group is seeking a GitLab Expert/Architect in Bengaluru to architect and manage enterprise GitLab environments, design CI/CD pipelines, and drive GitOps practices. The role requires 9+ years of experience and collaboration with cross-functional teams across Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure.

You will implement IaC with Terraform/AWS, integrate with Kubernetes and ArgoCD, and lead security governance and pipeline performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Architect and manage GitLab environments (SaaS or self-hosted).
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD.
• Establish GitLab governance, security and best practices.
• Design and manage scalable GitLab Runner infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Integrate GitLab with Kubernetes, Docker and ArgoCD (GitOps).
• Lead DevSecOps adoption with security scans and compliance controls.
• Improve pipeline performance, developer productivity and stability.
• Support migrations from Jenkins/Azure DevOps to GitLab.
• Collaborate with Dev, QA, Security and Infra teams.
• Experience supporting large enterprise GitLab environments.
• GitLab migration and modernization experience.
• GitLab certifications are a plus.
