Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a DevOps Engineer for in-person work in Dadar, Mumbai, India. The candidate will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure across Linux/Windows, and implement IaC using Terraform/Ansible.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of DevOps experience in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Role: DevOps Engineer

Experience: 3-6 years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
• Manage and automate infrastructure across Linux/Windows and cloud environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk, etc.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• Implement high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and scalability solutions.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Manage source-code repositories and branching strategies using Git.
• Work closely with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
• Implement security best practices, access controls, vulnerability remediation, and secrets management.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Ensure production systems meet defined SLA, availability, and performance requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
