Job summary

Divado Transfers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines in Kolkata. You will collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to automate processes and support continuous integration and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering role.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
• Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Solid understanding of Linux systems administration.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
• Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs).
• Strong understanding of Git and version control workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment (GitHub Actions).
• Build and manage infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Monitor performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents/outages.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (Digital Ocean, AWS, Hetzner).
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce deployment errors.
• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration systems (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment strategies and release cycles.
• Maintain and improve logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
• Ensure system security, compliance, and best practices across environments.
• Manage version control systems and branching strategies (Git).
• Manage Microservices Architecture.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and run books.
