The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, automation, and operation of the infrastructure supporting the company’s solutions, as well as the development process by which those solutions are engineered. DevOps Engineers will work together and with other engineering teams to deliver high quality solutions to clients. Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer Specialist with focus on AWS Cloud SaaS solutions, to join the Mumbai technology center in India. As a DevOps Engineer Specialist you will be a member of a cross-functional team, delivering critical data solutions for financial markets around the globe. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong expert team delivering complex technology solutions to our external clients. You will work with and learn from subject matter experts and have the opportunity to tackle more responsibility and progress within the development team. Role Responsibilities

As DevOps Engineer Specialist your focus will be facilitated teamwork between software development and IT operations teams to streamline software delivery and infrastructure changes. Key responsibilities encompass process automation, infrastructure management through code, and the establishment of continuous integration and deployment pipelines. The crucial proficiencies include automation tools, cloud services, software development practices, and system administration techniques, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of modern IT environments. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
• AWS experience.
• Terraform expertise.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Containers expertise (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, etc.
• Proficiency with Linux commands and utilities including Bash scripting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills that enable you to troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated issues.
• Good communication and collaboration skills that enable you to work well with developers, stakeholders, and users.
• Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends that help you improve your skills and knowledge.
• Creativity and innovation in creating solutions that meet user needs and expectations and deliver value to the business.
• Attention to detail and quality assurance that ensure your software products are of high quality and meet the standards and requirements.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and cope with changing priorities and deadlines.
• A curiosity for the financial industry, with an interest in learning about the markets, products, and services that Nasdaq offers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Data Lakes and Data Warehousing
• Familiarity with big data tools and technologies
• SQL, Kotlin, RESTful APIs, and Spring knowledge

Education Qualification

Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
