Job summary

Jupiter is seeking a skilled SDE 2 DevOps engineer in Bengaluru to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud architectures on AWS. You will drive automation, modernize CI/CD, and improve monitoring and reliability across production systems.

The role focuses on IaC, Kubernetes, and security best practices, collaborating with engineering teams to raise the bar on DevOps excellence in a fintech‑like environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

Who we're looking for

We are looking for a highly skilled SDE 2 DevOps engineer, focusing on AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud‑based architectures.

• Ensure security best practices for cloud environments including IAM, VPC configurations, and network security.

What is needed for this role

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Scripting and automation experience with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for automation and scalability.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a fintech/startup environment.
• Knowledge of database management and caching solutions.
• Exposure to multi‑cloud environments (GCP, Azure).
