Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps engineer to lead our DevOps initiatives, focusing on AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based architectures.

A milestone-focused approach will be key, ensuring continuous improvements in system efficiency, scalability, and reliability. This role demands a perfect blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for building resilient infrastructure that supports Jupiter’s mission of redefining banking.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and secure AWS infrastructure.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.
Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
Ensure security best practices are followed for cloud environments, including IAM, VPC configurations, and network security.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps culture and drive operational excellence.

What We Are Looking For

3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront, and more.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.). Scripting and automation experience with Python, Bash, or Go.
Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for automation and scalability.
