Job summary

Sigmoid is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced engineering team in Bengaluru. You will bring hands-on expertise in Linux systems administration, scripting, and CI/CD tooling, with a primary focus on migrating our build and release pipelines from Jenkins to Harness.

This high-impact role partners with engineering, data science, and product teams. The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of relevant experience, a CS-related degree, and a proven track record shipping large-scale

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant work experience; a degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required.
• Proven track record of building and shipping large-scale engineering products, and/or working knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS (preferred).
• Experience with Shell, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Experience managing Linux systems and working with build and release tools like Jenkins.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, including engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced start-up environment.

• Hands‑on experience planning and executing migrations from Jenkins to Harness is the most critical requirement for this role.

Must‑Have Qualifications
