Job summary

Appscrip is seeking a DevOps Engineer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing tech team in Bengaluru. You will help streamline deployment processes, improve reliability, and support development operations in a dynamic environment.

Candidates should be proficient with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker and Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible. Familiarity with monitoring and security practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Strong Linux-based environment knowledge.
• Proficient with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python).

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar.
• Manage infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes (or other orchestration tools) for containerization and service deployment.
• Monitor system performance, ensure availability, and implement failover solutions.
• Maintain and improve system security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.

Required Skills :

• 3-4 years of experience in a DevOps role
• Strong understanding of Linux‑based environments
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
