Job Title: DevOps Engineer II

Overview
MiQ is a global programmatic media partner for marketers and agencies. The role focuses on managing the production Kubernetes environment, ensuring SLA uptime, developing automation, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the production Kubernetes environment and ensure a 99.5% uptime SLA for all applications.
- Demonstrate hands‑on knowledge with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Sensugo.
- Create multi‑branch Jenkins pipelines and achieve 100% zero‑one click build automation.
- Write automation scripts in Terraform and Python.
- Upgrade and maintain open source tools including Nexus, Jenkins, Sonar, and others.
- Understand and implement the DevOps tool stack and processes such as Release When Ready.
- Troubleshoot Java build failures and other build issues.
Stakeholders
Internal customers include Product Development Teams, Engineering Teams, and Operations and Manufacturing teams.
External customers comprise End Users, Business Partners, and Collaborators.
What you’ll bring
- 3–5 years of experience developing with AWS.
- Excellent grasp of Jenkins.
- Excellent understanding of Kubernetes.
- Good knowledge of cloud environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Rancher, Helm charts, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Experience upgrading Nexus, Jenkins, Sonar, and other open‑source tools is a plus.
- Good understanding of the overall DevOps tool stack and processes such as Release When Ready.
- Expert knowledge in AWS and hands‑on with Kubernetes – EKS Clusters.
- Ability to troubleshoot Java build failures in collaboration with DevOps.
