Job summary

Embitel Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design and operate robust, scalable delivery pipelines. You will own CI/CD across environments and drive automation for campaigns and campaigns-related workflows.

You will implement cloud-native monitoring, secure delivery practices, and API-based integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• CI/CD automation and pipelines using common tooling such as Jenkins and Git-based workflows.
• Docker and Kubernetes at scale; container orchestration experience.
• Terraform or similar IaC for reproducible infrastructure.
• Observability with metrics, logs, tracing and dashboards.
• Security-by-design in delivery, SBOM practices and secure pipelines.
• Azure and cloud platform expertise; build for failure and automation.
• API integrations and cross-system coordination.

DevOps Engineer for DLCM Control Center development

Years Of exp: (7-14 yrs)

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate reliable, scalable delivery pipelines that support automation-first campaign management and reduce manual steps across creation and execution workflows.
• Own CI/CD and deployment automation across environments; improve release quality through repeatable, audited delivery practices.
• Implement and run cloud-native operational practices: monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and rapid incident troubleshooting to meet availability and performance expectations.
• Enable secure, role-aware operations aligned with compliance needs (e.g. reducing exposure to sensitive third-party data via role/permission changes).
• Partner with product/engineering to deliver API-based integrations that streamline campaign orchestration across adjacent systems (e.g. recall campaign creation, baseline campaign creation via interfaces).
• Raise DevOps maturity through standardization, automation, and feedback loops across dev and ops stakeholders.

Technical Expertise

• CI/CD & automation: Strong hands-on experience designing/operating automated pipelines; comfort with common tooling such as Jenkins and Git-based workflows.
• Containers & orchestration: Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes; ability to package and deploy consistently and operate workloads at scale.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proven delivery of reproducible infrastructure using Terraform and/or other automations.
• Observability: Practical expertise with metrics/logs/tracing and alerting; ability to instrument systems and operate with dashboards and synthetic checks where relevant.
• Security-by-design in delivery: Experience embedding security checks into pipelines and operations; understanding of software supply-chain transparency (e.g. SBOM practices) and modern DevSecOps expectations.
• Azure & Cloud Platform Competencies & Skills: Platform reliability mindset: Build for failure, automate recovery paths, and reduce operational toil through repeatability and clear runbooks.
• Integration thinking: Comfortable operating services that interact via APIs and support 'seamless and invisible handling' of cross-system processes for users.
• Operational excellence: Strong approach to monitoring strategy, incident response, and continuous improvement through feedback and collaboration.
• Soft skills: Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders; able to translate reliability and automation needs into pragmatic delivery plans.
• Collaborative, 'shared responsibility' mindset aligned with DevOps culture and continuous feedback loops.
• Structured problem solving under pressure; calm incident leadership and effective cross-team coordination.

Nice to have

• GitOps experience (e.g., Argo CD) and standardized deployment patterns for Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Experience with advanced cloud-native observability stacks (e.g. Prometheus/Grafana) and modern operational metrics.
• Practical exposure to supply-chain security frameworks and automation (e.g. SBOM generation/verification, provenance, 'beyond shift-left' practices).
