Job summary

Tietoevry Corp. Bengaluru seeks a DevOps/Java engineer to join our operations team. You will work on Linux environments, manage containerized apps, and support Java/JVM based services, REST/SOAP endpoints, and SQL databases.

You will automate deployments with scripting (Python, shell), use tools like Docker, Tomcat, and CI systems, and contribute to continuous improvement while assisting customers and stakeholders with timely solutions.

Required Technical Competencies:

Most important?:

• Proficient with various software package managers (e.g. rpm, war, docker,npm,?), i.e. how to build them, and able to quickly grasp new package managers of other types (e.g. go,etc)
• Proficient reading, understanding, and troubleshooting Java applications/JVM (threadumps,heapdumps,etc)
• Proficient with SQL and some DBA experience (MySQL, Postgres)

Required:

• Proficient with Linux, including related IT environment
