Job summary

Tecnots is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure and on-premises systems in a hybrid deployment model.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning with IaC tools, and ensure secure, reliable deployments across cloud, on-prem, and hosted environments. Strong scripting and virtualization experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong Azure expertise (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform, ARM templates, and/or Bicep.
• Scripting skills: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Experience managing Linux and Windows servers.
• Understanding of networking, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and on-premises infrastructure to support and enhance our hybrid deployment environments.The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining scalable infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes that ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing application delivery.This role requires close collaboration with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure operational excellence, high availability, and performance across cloud, on-premises, and hosted environments.

• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity, and access management.
• Implement and maintain hybrid architectures integrating Azure with on-premises environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Set up and maintain development, staging, and production environments for engineering teams.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments.
• Improve deployment reliability and consistency while reducing manual intervention through automation.

• Implement configuration management and deployment automation using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or equivalent solutions.
• Plan and execute application deployments in customer-managed data centres, internal environments, and hosted platforms.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, Prometheus, or equivalent tools.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
• Solid scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows servers.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system performance concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
• Experience working in hybrid cloud and enterprise on-premises environments.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect.
