Job summary

Tecnots in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will implement IaC, automate CI/CD, and maintain multi-environment deployments to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role requires strong Azure expertise, scripting skills, and experience with virtualization, security, and networking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Strong Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Scripting with PowerShell, Bash or Python; Linux and Windows admin.
• Solid networking, security and performance basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity, and access management.
• Implement and maintain hybrid architectures integrating Azure with on-premises environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Set up and maintain development, staging, and production environments for engineering teams.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments.
• Improve deployment reliability and consistency while reducing manual intervention through automation.
• Manage, maintain, and support on-premises servers and virtualized environments, including VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Deploy, configure, and manage workloads on VPS and third‑party hosting providers.
• Support hybrid deployment models across on-premises, cloud, and hosted infrastructure.
• Implement configuration management and deployment automation using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or equivalent solutions.
• Plan and execute application deployments in customer-managed data centres, internal environments, and hosted platforms.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, Prometheus, or equivalent tools.

What you\'ll need

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
• Solid scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows servers.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system performance concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
• Experience working in hybrid cloud and enterprise on‑premises environments.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect.
• 1+ year of experience in GCP.
