Job summary

Infosys in Hyderabad is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines on AWS. The role emphasizes IaC, automation, and strong collaboration with development and operations teams.

You will administer AWS services, implement security best practices, optimize costs, and contribute to incident response and runbooks in a fast-paced cloud environment. This is a Full-Time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in AWS DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, IaC, and automation scripting.
• Proficient in AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and EKS.

Position: AWS DevOps Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.


• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.


• Manage and administer AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and EKS.


• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in AWS cloud environments.


• Configure and manage containerization platforms using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).


• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices for scalable and repeatable deployments.


• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.


• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues across development and production environments.


• Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.


• Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell, or Bash scripting.


• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability.


• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release processes.


• Ensure cloud security compliance through IAM policies, security groups, encryption, and vulnerability management.


• Optimize AWS resource utilization and cloud costs.


• Configure backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.


• Support DevSecOps initiatives by integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines.


• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.


• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
