Job summary

Onruyl is seeking a senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. You will provision cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet, and containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

You will implement robust monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack, collaborate with developers and QA to accelerate releases, and enforce security best practices across pipelines and networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps/CKA) are a strong plus.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-availability CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  
• Manage and provision cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  
• Containerize applications and manage container orchestration platforms using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
  
• Implement robust system monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  
• Collaborate closely with software developers and QA engineers to streamline release cycles and improve deployment frequency.
  
• Enforce security best practices (DevSecOps) across cloud networks, access policies, and pipeline stages.
  
• Lead troubleshooting efforts, perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents, and maintain system reliability.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience: 36 years of proven experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role.
  
• Cloud & IaC: Strong proficiency with major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes deployment management, and Helm charts.
  
• CI/CD & Automation: Mastery of pipeline tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps, alongside strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  
• Monitoring & Security: Familiarity with APM tools (Datadog, Dynatrace), log management, network security, and IAM administration.
  
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA) are a strong plus.
