Job Description

The Continuous Integration team is a newly formed team within the Engineering Division of Avaloq. We are looking for motivated and experienced DevOps Engineers to help take our tools to the next level. You will own and operate productive systems relied on by our development teams and customers, and help shape the future of how Continuous Integration should look.

Your key tasks

• Management and operations of our productive CI systems
• Providing user support to our community of users
• Evolve infrastructure towards containerised environments
• Work closely with architects, tech leads and practice leads to shape the CI roadmap
• Mentor junior team members

Qualifications

What You Need

• Clear understanding of CI/CD concepts and able to execute them efficiently.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Artifactory and Linux environments
• Knowledge of tooling such as Ansible/Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Gradle, Maven
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle utilising microservice architecture
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Proactively seeks, analyses and challenges solutions
• Excellent communication skills

It would be a real bonus if you have

• RedHat OpenShift
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle)
• Experience with Groovy and/or Python
• Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
