Role & Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices and industry standards.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability on AWS.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AWS services and infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards for AWS environments.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Participate in performance tuning, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Document and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and deployment guides.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, patches to support web applications and services.
• Manage web server software (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and configure virtual hosts, SSL certificates, and web application firewalls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience managing Linux servers and web server software (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
• Knowledge of web application architectures and protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, REST).

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant AWS certifications.
• Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
