Job summary

Securonix is seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to support customer lifecycle operations, releases, and feature rollouts. You will manage on-prem/cloud deployments, drive automation in Python, and ensure efficient, auditable change management across customer environments.

The role requires strong DevOps fundamentals, cross-functional communication, and ownership of customer-facing operational workflows.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, release engineering, deployment operations, platform operations, or related role.
• Experience supporting customer onboarding/offboarding in SaaS/cloud environments.
• Experience executing release rollouts, upgrades, and production changes.
• Knowledge of change-management processes, approvals, risk assessment, and maintenance windows.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills, REST APIs, JSON/YAML, data processing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute customer onboarding/offboarding from a DevOps perspective, including environment readiness and validation.
• Plan and support release rollouts, feature enablement, upgrades, and production deployments with documented steps and rollback plans.
• Manage end-to-end change management workflows, approvals, and maintenance windows.
• Develop Python automation for repetitive operational tasks and customer lifecycle workflows.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to make builds, releases, and deployments repeatable and reliable.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Release Management, Customer Success, Support, and Operations to coordinate changes.
• Monitor deployments and troubleshoot issues; document corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, deployment guides, and change records for audits.

KeyResponsibilities:

• CoordinateandexecutecustomeronboardingandoffboardingactivitiesfromaDevOpsperspective,includingenvironmentreadiness,configuration,accessenablementorremoval,validation,andclosurechecklists.
• Planandsupportcustomerreleaserollouts,featureenablement,minorupgrades,andproductiondeploymentswithdocumentedpre-checks,implementationsteps,post-validation,androllbackplans.
• Managecustomerchangemanagementworkflowsendtoend,includingchangerequestcreation,impactandriskassessment,approvaltracking,maintenance-windowscheduling,implementationevidence,andclosure.
• DevelopandmaintainPythonautomationforrepetitiveoperationaltasks,customerlifecycleworkflows,deploymentorchestration,ticketupdates,reporting,datavalidation,andhealthchecks.
• Build,maintain,andimproveCI/CDpipelinestomakebuild,release,anddeploymentprocessesrepeatable,traceable,andreliable.
• CollaboratewithEngineering,QA,ReleaseManagement,CustomerSuccess/TAM,Support,andOperationsteamstocoordinatechangesandresolverolloutdependenciesorblockers.
• Monitordeploymentsandproductionchanges,troubleshootfailures,participateinincidentresolution,anddocumentcorrectiveandpreventiveactions.

RequiredQualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, release engineering, deployment operations, platform operations, or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience supporting customer onboarding and offboarding activities in a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environment.
• Experience executing release rollouts, feature enablement, upgrades, and production changes across customer environments.
• Workingknowledgeofcustomerchangemanagementprocesses,includingapprovals,riskassessment,maintenancewindows,implementationplans,validation,rollback,andclosure.
• StrongPythonscriptingandautomationskills,includingexperienceworkingwithRESTAPIs,JSON/YAML,dataprocessing,errorhandling,logging,andreusablemodules.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Harness, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.
• Clearcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytocoordinateeffectivelywithtechnicalandcustomer-facingteams.
