Job summary

Fynd is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build scalable AI-enabled web applications and embrace AI as a development multiplier. You will automate operations, manage multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines.

Proficiency in GCP, Python, and Terraform/Ansible is required, with knowledge of security, monitoring, and tracing tools. You will work in a dynamic team, contribute to architectural decisions, and utilize AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in Python and at least one other language (Node.js / Go / Shell).
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with web servers and proxies (Nginx, Apache).
• Containerisation experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Security-focused on cloud services and Kubernetes.
• Cloud-native monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Code, build and release management using Git and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Azure.
• Distributed tracing and APM tools is a plus.
• Logging stacks like ELK at scale.
• Kafka messaging system.
• SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Gather cloud infrastructure requirements, evaluate options and propose solutions.
• Define, document, and develop new product features and automation scripts.
• Update and design new processes as needed.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who not only builds performant, scalable applications but also embraces AI as a development multiplier. Your core job will be building and owning web applications end-to-end, but we expect you to use tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or equivalent to write, debug, test, and document faster and better.

• Use AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, GPT-4) to accelerate code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation
• Code with AI — Use GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools for scaffolding, debugging, and testing

What will you do at Fynd?

• Automate Everything: Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements.
• Gather cloud infrastructure requirements, evaluate options and come up with solutions.
• Specifying, documenting and developing new product features, and writing automating scripts.
• Update our processes and design new processes as needed
• Work with multiple self-managed Kubernetes Clusters on different Clouds.
• Being proactive - Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch* Maintaining CI/CD pipelines while keeping it stable and efficient

Some more requirements

• Hands-on experience working on GCP
• Well versed with at-least two languages - Python and one more (Node JS ,Go, Shell).
• Working knowledge of Terraform and Ansible
• Experience using Web servers & proxies (Nginx, Apache)
• Containerisation experience working with Docker/ Kubernetes
• Experience with working on security of Cloud services and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud-native monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Code, Build and Release management using GIT and Jenkins
• Understanding of Azure
• Experience with distributed tracing and APM tools a plus.
• Experience with running Logging Infrastructure stacks like ELK at scale.
• Knowledge of distributed Messaging/Task Queues: Kafka
• Basic Understanding of SQL and NO SQL databases like Mongo, Mysql
